Terms & Conditions

Fair terms, plainly stated.

Using Azure Status means accepting the terms below. The short version: read the dashboard freely, do not abuse the endpoints, and treat probe data as informational.

Last updated: September 16, 2026.

1. Operator and service

Azure Status (“the service”) is operated by [OPERATOR LEGAL NAME — PLACEHOLDER]. The legal operator name is still to be confirmed; it is shown as a placeholder until then.

The service provides a public, read-only dashboard of live and recent availability for Azure products, plus a read-only history API (GET /api/status-history). Nothing on the page is sold and no paid offerings exist here. Contact is available through the Azure Discord community.

2. Acceptable use

The dashboard and history API must not be used to break the law, to harm others, or to probe or disrupt the service. Automated scraping or polling far beyond the dashboard refresh cadence of one request per minute is abuse and may be throttled or blocked.

Probe results are informational samples, not guarantees. A slow or failed probe can reflect the network path as well as the endpoint, so availability labels should be read as indicators rather than contractual commitments.

3. Availability

The service is provided on a best-effort basis with no uptime guarantee. History coverage can gap during edge incidents or maintenance, and observations reflect the moment each probe ran — not a continuous record.

4. Content and intellectual property

The Azure interface, status presentation, and brand assets remain the property of the operator. Availability labels and timeline data shown on the page may be referenced with attribution, but nothing in these terms grants a license to copy or re-host the service itself.

5. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the same maximum extent, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

6. Changes to these terms

Material changes are noted with a new update date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after the posted update date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
